Islamabad: The Organization of Islamic Cooperation has strongly condemned the spate of aggression and organized terrorism perpetrated by Israel and extremist settler groups in the West Bank.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement, the OIC also denounced the systematic destruction of infrastructure in refugee camps in the West Bank. It called for justice by holding Israel accountable for its crimes in all parts of the Palestinian territory.
The OIC warned against the danger of worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza caused by continued genocide, starvation, blockade, and destruction of infrastructure by Israel. The OIC rejected the process of distributing humanitarian aid during which civilians are targeted while waiting to receive aid.
The organization urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to assume its responsibility by imposing an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza, opening all border crossings, allowing sufficient humanitarian aid in all parts of the Gaza Strip, and providing international protection to the Palestinian people.
