Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) and Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) are taking steps to get the country out of the energy crisis. Oil and Gas Development Company Limited with the support of Special Investment Facilitation Council had identified gas reserves in Rahim Yar Khan in June. These gas deposits were found at a depth of about two thousand meters. Such projects will not only strengthen the country's economy but will help in restoring the confidence of investors. Similarly, Mari Petroleum Company Limited is an oil and gas exploration and production company which has an exploration success rate of seventy percent.
