No Effort Should Be Spared in Providing Best Facilities to Pilgrims: Yousaf

Islamabad: A meeting chaired by Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf in Islamabad reviewed Hajj arrangements for this year. In his remarks, the Federal Minister emphasized that exemplary arrangements should be made for the pilgrims both in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, stressing that no effort should be spared in providing best facilities and services to the pilgrims.

According to Radio Pakistan, Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs Dr. Sajid Mahmoud Chauhan confirmed that the first phase of mandatory training for pilgrims and Hajj staff has been completed. The Secretary mentioned that one hundred and eighty-three training workshops had been held across one hundred and seven cities, where pilgrims were trained on Hajj rituals and administrative matters.

It was informed that the second phase of the one-day Hajj training will commence immediately after Eid-ul-Fitr. The federal secretary said the process of providing vaccines, air tickets, and visas to the pilgrims will begin soon. Furthermore, the DG Hajj stated that the accommodations in Makkah and Madinah are of better quality than last year.
