Gilgit: The National Highway Authority will construct two major roads in the Gilgit region at a cost of over twenty-two billion rupees.

According to Radio Pakistan, the new roads aim to alleviate traffic congestion on connected routes. By redistributing vehicle load more efficiently, the construction is expected to reduce bottlenecks across Chitral and neighboring valleys.
