Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, visited the Parliament Lodges today to review the progress of the under-construction project of one hundred and four additional family suites. During the visit, the Speaker was informed that the construction of 104 additional family suites has entered its final stages.
According to Radio Pakistan, the project, which was initially launched in 2011, had remained stalled for a prolonged period. However, due to the special efforts and personal initiative of Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the project was revived after years of delay.
Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker National Assembly directed the Capital Development Authority to ensure high construction standards, maintain strict oversight, and accelerate the pace of work. He stated that any further delay or negligence would not be tolerated, underlining the importance of completing the project within the stipulated timeframe.
Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry also accompanied the Speaker during the visit and gave a detailed briefing on the ongoing project. He assured that all available resources would be utilized to ensure the project’s early completion.
