Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq paid a visit to the Parliament Lodges today where he inspected the ongoing construction of the one hundred and four additional family suites. During the visit, the Speaker was briefed in detail about the current status of the project, which was originally initiated in 2011 and scheduled for completion in 2013, but faced unprecedented delay.
According to Radio Pakistan, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq directed the officials of Capital Development Authority to ensure timely completion and maintain the highest standards of construction quality. He emphasized that no compromise would be acceptable in maintaining the highest standard quality work on the project.
On the occasion, the CDA officials assured the Speaker that the additional family suites and servant quarters project will be completed by June next year as per the revised schedule.
