Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has approved the schedule for the upcoming sessions of the National Assembly regarding the presentation and discussion of the Federal Budget for the fiscal year 2025-26.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Federal Budget 2025-26 will be presented in the National Assembly tomorrow (Tuesday) at five in the evening. Simultaneously, the Senate has been summoned at six in the evening on the same day to discuss the budget proceedings.

The House will commence general debate on the budget on Friday, 13th of this month, which will continue until the 21st and formally conclude on the same day. The Finance Bill 2025 is scheduled to be taken up for approval by the National Assembly on the 26th, while Supplementary Grants and other related matters will be discussed and voted on the 27th of this month.

There will be no sitting of the House on the 11th, 12th, and 22nd of this month. All parliamentary parties with representation in the National Assembly will be allocated appropriate time to participate in the budget debate, following the Assembly’s established rules and procedures.
