Islamabad: The National Assembly met briefly at the Parliament House in Islamabad today with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the chair. Due to lack of quorum, the House was adjourned to meet again on Monday at five pm.

According to Radio Pakistan, the session was cut short as the required number of members needed to conduct the session was not met. This procedural issue led to the decision to adjourn the meeting until the next scheduled session.
