Islamabad: The National Assembly is engaged in ongoing discussions regarding the current law and order situation in the country, with a particular focus on the challenges faced in Balochistan.
According to Radio Pakistan, members of the Lower House have been vociferous in their condemnation of terrorist activities occurring in Balochistan. Aliya Kamran expressed a firm stance against terrorism, stating that there can be no support for terrorist activities. She advocated for addressing the issues in Balochistan through dialogue as a means to foster peace and stability.
Sofia Saeed, another member of the assembly, praised the efforts of security forces in their operations against terrorists in the region. She also highlighted the importance of fully implementing the National Action Plan to ensure sustained security and order.
Usman Badini brought attention to the rich natural resources present in Balochistan and stressed the necessity for the Baloch people to be granted their rightful entitlements. He emphasized that acknowledging and respecting these rights is crucial for the development and prosperity of the region.
