Islamabad: Rain-wind and thundershower activities are forecasted to affect various regions including Kashmir, Punjab, Islamabad, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast and south Balochistan, and Gilgit-Baltistan within the next twelve hours. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has also indicated that heavy rainfall may occur at isolated locations in northeast and southern Punjab as well as Northern Balochistan during this period.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded in major cities this morning was as follows: Islamabad and Peshawar at twenty-four degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-five, Karachi at twenty-nine, Quetta at twenty-three, Gilgit at twenty-one, and Muzaffarabad at twenty-two degrees centigrade.
