Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued important guidelines for intending pilgrims. These guidelines aim to ensure that all pilgrims meet the necessary health and documentation requirements before embarking on their journey to Saudi Arabia for Hajj.
According to Radio Pakistan, it is mandatory for the pilgrims to receive the required vaccinations and obtain a Yellow card from the Haji camp prior to their departure. Entry into Saudi Arabia will not be permitted without a valid vaccination certificate, highlighting the importance of these health precautions.
Additionally, individuals over the age of sixty-five must carry their Covid-19 vaccination card as part of the travel requirements. This measure is part of the broader effort to safeguard the health of older pilgrims who may be more vulnerable.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs has also warned pilgrims to remain vigilant against fake permits. It is crucial for the Hujjaj to travel to Saudi Arabia only with a valid and authentic Hajj permit to prevent any complications during their pilgrimage.
