MORA Issues Clarification Regarding Recognition Letters Issued to Munazzams

Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has clarified that Recognition Letters issued to Munazzams for Hajj 2025 were based on provisional allocation of quota, subject to fulfillment of all requirements set forth by Saudi Arabia.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry stated that these requirements include timely payment for essential services such as Kidana (Mina camps) and Tawafah. The Ministry further explained that final confirmation of quota is contingent upon successful compliance with the prescribed deadlines and procedures of the Saudi authorities.

The Ministry also highlighted that non-compliance has led to automatic adjustment or cancellation of quota by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and its designated entities. Consequently, only those Munazzams who met the requisite conditions are reflected as active for Hajj 2025.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs warned that any Munazzam found booking Hujjaj beyond their final verified quota will be strictly dealt with under applicable laws. Such cases may be referred to the Federal Investigation Agency or other relevant enforcement bodies.

The Ministry issued this clarification in the public interest to ensure transparency. It urged intending Hajj pilgrims to visit the website https://pvt-inquiry.hajjinfo.org for verification of individual Hujjaj status under the Private Hajj Scheme 2025.
