MoRA Announces National Seerat Books, Naats, and Journals Competition for 2026

Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) has announced the National Seerat Books, Naats, and Journals Competition for the year 2026. This initiative aims to engage scholars and authors across the nation in exploring and promoting the teachings of Seerat-un-Nabi (SAWW).

According to Radio Pakistan, this year's competition will focus on the theme "Protection, development and character of the new generation in the light of the Seerat-un-Nabi (SAWW)." The competition seeks to highlight the importance of nurturing the younger generation through the wisdom of the Prophet's life and teachings.

Participants in the competition will have the opportunity to win separate cash prizes and certificates. These will be awarded to prominent male and female scholars at both the national and provincial levels, recognizing their contributions to the understanding and dissemination of Islamic teachings.

The National Seerat Books Competition is considered a crucial effort in promoting Seerat-un-Nabi (SAWW) within society. It aims to inspire individuals to delve deeper into the Prophet's life and apply his teachings to contemporary issues facing the new generation.

The Ministry has set the deadline for submitting books and journals for the competition as the 31st of March this year. This timeline provides ample opportunity for participants to research and compile their entries, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives and insights.
