Islamabad: Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, along with Members of the National Assembly Raja Khurram Shahzad Nawaz, Anjum Aqeel Khan, Tehmina Daultana, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Azhar Khan Leghari, Raja Osama Sarwar, Ehsanul Haq Bajwa, Waseem Qadi, Muhammad Usman Awaisi, Makhdoom Syed Sami-ul-Hassan Gilani, Member of Punjab Assembly Malik Khalid Waran, and former member of the Punjab Assembly Qazi Adnan Farid, separately met Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. They discussed progress on ongoing development projects in the Federal Capital and issues related to their constituencies.
According to Radio Pakistan, the parliamentarians extended their congratulations to the Prime Minister for presenting a budget that they deemed people-friendly for the upcoming financial year. In addition, Minister of State for Climate Change Shazra Mansab also met with the Prime Minister, expressing her approval for a budget that she believes aligns with the people’s aspirations.
The meetings also addressed precautionary measures and other national arrangements in anticipation of the monsoon rains. The parliamentarians took the opportunity to discuss issues pertinent to their constituencies with the Prime Minister.
