Jalalpur pirwala: Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik visited Jalalpur Pirwala and inspected the thirty-six inch gas pipeline affected by the floods. Speaking on the occasion, he said that provision of amenities to general public is the top priority of government.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister was informed that gas supply is continuing uninterrupted through an alternative pipeline and the affected pipeline had already been isolated to prevent any potential damage. Ali Pervaiz Malik also inspected the gas transmission system in Multan.
