Islamabad: Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Syed Imran Ahmad Shah has announced the launch of a poverty alleviation program targeting twenty-five districts across the country.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister emphasized that Balochistan is being given priority within this program, with twelve of its districts included in the initiative. During a ceremony in Islamabad, he highlighted the government's focus on utilizing funds transparently through Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal and ensuring timely scholarships for deserving students.
Syed Imran Ahmad Shah also noted that Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal has successfully awarded scholarships worth two billion rupees to over seventy-five thousand students over the past two decades.
