Islamabad: With the successful conclusion of the landmark Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, the military campaign Marka-e-Haq, of which the operation was an integral part, also came to a victorious end.
According to Radio Pakistan, Marka-e-Haq is the official name given to the broader conflict from the 22nd of the last month to the 10th of this month, while “Bunyanum Marsoos” was the name given to the operation on the 10th of this month as Pakistan vowed justice and retribution. With the success of this operation, Pakistan Armed Forces have delivered the promise made to the people of Pakistan.
The Armed Forces expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for His infinite blessings, mercy, help, and divine support. They extended sympathies to the families of the Shuhada who sacrificed their lives for the country during this conflict.
The forces thanked every officer, soldier, airman, and sailor of the Armed Forces of Pakistan who contributed to the success on the battlefield through courage, professionalism, and sacrifice. The Pakistani nation also received appreciation for its unwavering moral strength, resolve, and wholehearted support and prayers during these trying times.
According to ISPR, the armed forces are especially indebted to the youth of Pakistan, who acted as frontline soldiers and cyber and information warriors, as well as the vibrant media of Pakistan, which countered the Indian media’s disinformation and war-mongering.
Acknowledgment was extended to the diplomatic corps for effectively representing Pakistan’s case internationally, and to scientists and engineers for developing technologies instrumental in the success of Operation “Bunyanum Marsoos”. The armed forces also appreciated the political leadership for their unified resolve and support.
The operation demonstrated a textbook case of integrated tri-services jointness, enabled by real-time situational awareness, network-centric warfare capabilities, and seamless multi-domain operations. This synergy allowed for precision engagement across air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
Targets included military sites in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and mainland India, which were responsible for targeting Pakistani citizens and supporting terrorism. Pakistani forces used precision-guided Fatah series missiles, precision munitions, and long-range artillery to engage 26 military targets.
Facilities that harbored and trained proxy elements for terrorist attacks in Pakistan were identified and destroyed. Military elements across the LOC, which caused civilian casualties in Azad Kashmir, were targeted until they raised white flags.
ISPR noted that India used drones to violate Pakistani airspace. During Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, Pakistani armed drones demonstrated their capability over Indian cities and facilities, indicating the futility of this domain in warfare. Pakistan also executed cyber operations to disrupt Indian military infrastructure.
The response was precise, proportionate, and restrained, targeting only entities and facilities involved in orchestrating attacks on Pakistani civilians. Despite Indian provocations, Pakistan’s military response avoided civilian casualties.
The conflict highlighted Indian-sponsored terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, with proxies operationalized to distract Pakistan. The armed forces simultaneously conducted effective counter-terrorism operations in the western region alongside Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
Marka-e-Haq exemplified the synergy between national power elements and public support to counter threats to sovereignty and territorial integrity. Pakistan Armed Forces salute the Pakistani nation for its courage, resilience, and fervor during this conflict.
