Met Office Predicts Rain and Thunderstorms in Upper Regions of Country

Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very hot conditions prevail in Sindh and southern Balochistan during the next twelve hours. However, the Met Office has forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of rain-wind, dust storms, and thunderstorms at isolated places in upper Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and the Potohar region.

According to Radio Pakistan, moderate to heavy rainfall and hailstorms are also anticipated at isolated locations during this period. The temperatures of major cities recorded this morning include Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at twenty degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-four, Karachi at twenty-eight, Peshawar at twenty-three, Quetta at twenty-six, Gilgit at twenty-two, and Murree at twelve degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir indicates cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorms in areas such as Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Baramula, Anantnag, Shopian, and Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning were Srinagar and Pulwama at fifteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-four, Leh at four, Anantnag at twenty-six, Shopian at twenty-three, and Baramula at twenty-four.
