Islamabad: Maqbool Ahmad Gondal has been sworn in as the new Auditor General of Pakistan. Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi administered the oath at a ceremony in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ceremony witnessed Maqbool Ahmad Gondal officially taking on the responsibilities of overseeing the auditing processes in the country.
