Islamabad: Mainly hot and humid weather is expected to prevail in most regions of the country over the next twelve hours. However, certain areas may experience rain, wind, and thundershowers. According to Radio Pakistan, isolated regions such as Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, North-Eastern Punjab, the Potohar region, and South-Eastern Sindh are likely to witness rain accompanied by wind and thundershowers. This morning, the temperatures recorded in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at twenty-eight degrees centigrade, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar at twenty-nine degrees, Quetta at twenty-four degrees, Gilgit at twenty-three degrees, Murree at sixteen degrees, and Muzafarabad at twenty-five degrees centigrade. For the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, partly cloudy weather with a chance of rain and wind accompanied by thundershowers is expected in areas such as Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, Baramula, and Leh. The temperatures recorded this morning were nineteen degrees in Srinagar and Anantnag, twenty-seven degrees in Jammu, eleven degrees in Leh, and eighteen degrees in Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramula.
