Mainly Hot and Dry Weather Forecasted Across the Country


Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country over the next twelve hours. However, isolated areas in Kashmir and the adjoining hilly regions may experience partly cloudy weather with rain, wind, and thundershowers in the afternoon.



According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded in major cities this morning included Islamabad at twenty-five degrees centigrade, Lahore and Peshawar at twenty-seven, Karachi at twenty-six, Quetta at twenty, Gilgit and Murree at sixteen, and Muzafarabad at twenty-three degrees centigrade.



For the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast predicts partly cloudy skies in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. However, rain and wind with thundershowers are expected in Jammu. The morning temperatures recorded in these areas were Srinagar and Pulwama at seventeen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-seven, Leh at seven, Anantnag and Shopian at sixteen, and Baramula at eighteen degrees centigrade.
