Islamabad: Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, partly cloudy weather with rain, dust/windstorm, and thunderstorms is anticipated at isolated places in Upper/Central Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Moderate to heavy rain or hailstorms may also occur at isolated locations.
According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature recorded in major cities this morning was as follows: Islamabad at eighteen degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-four, Karachi at twenty-seven, Peshawar at twenty-one, Quetta and Muzaffarabad at seventeen, Gilgit at fourteen, and Murree at twelve degrees centigrade.
In addition, the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts partly cloudy conditions with chances of rain and wind thunderstorms in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. The temperatures recorded in these areas this morning were Srinagar, Pulwama, and Anantnag at twelve degrees
centigrade, Jammu at twenty-three, Leh at two, Shopian at nine, and Baramula at sixteen degrees centigrade.
