Mainly Dry Weather Expected Across Country with Cold Conditions in Hilly Areas


Islamabad: Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, cold conditions, with very cold temperatures during the morning and night, are anticipated in hilly regions. Additionally, smog may develop over a few plain areas of Punjab.



According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature readings recorded this morning in major cities are as follows: Islamabad and Muzafarabad at six degrees centigrade, Lahore at thirteen, Karachi at eighteen, Peshawar at eleven, Quetta at zero, Gilgit at minus-two, and Murree at five degrees centigrade.



In the weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and dry conditions are expected in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with very cold and dry weather predicted for Jammu. The temperatures recorded this morning in these areas are: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at one degree centigrade, Jammu at nine, Leh at minus-seven, and Pulwama and Baramula at zero degrees centigrade.
