Islamabad: Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours. However, the hilly areas will experience very cold conditions during the night and morning hours.
According to Radio Pakistan, partly cloudy to cloudy weather conditions are anticipated in Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir. There is also a likelihood of light rain and snow at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north Balochistan.
The temperature in major cities recorded this morning includes Islamabad at six degrees centigrade, Lahore at twelve, Karachi at twenty-one, Peshawar at ten, Quetta at nine, Gilgit at two, Murree at minus-one, and Muzaffarabad at four degrees centigrade.
In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast suggests partly cloudy and very cold weather in Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, while Jammu will remain cold and dry. The temperature recorded this morning was minus-two degrees centigrade in Srinagar and Shopian, six in Jammu, minus-seven in Leh, minus-three in Pulwama and Anantnag, and minus-one in Baramula.
