Islamabad: Mainly cloudy weather is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and upper Punjab, with rain, wind-thunderstorms, and snowfall in hilly areas during the next twelve hours. Heavy falls with moderate to intense snowfall are also likely in these hilly areas. Rain with wind-thunderstorms is also likely in south Punjab and upper Sindh during this period.

According to Radio Pakistan, the temperature of major cities was recorded this morning. Islamabad was at six degrees centigrade, Lahore at nine, Karachi at thirteen, Peshawar at eight, Quetta and Murree at minus-one, Gilgit at minus-two, and Muzaffarabad at two degrees centigrade.

The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir predicts cloudy weather with chances of rain and snowfall in Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. In Srinagar, cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind-thunderstorm with snowfall is expected, while Jammu is predicted to have cloudy weather with chances of rain and wind-thunderstorm.

The temperatures recorded this morning in these areas were Srinagar, Pulwama, and Shopian at minus-five degrees centigrade, Jammu at seven, Leh at minus-thirteen, and Anantnag and Baramula at minus-four degrees centigrade.
