LEAs Nab Facilitators, Perpetrators of Islamabad Blast

Islamabad: Law Enforcement Agencies have successfully nabbed all facilitators and perpetrators of the Islamabad suicide blast.

According to Radio Pakistan, this was stated by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi while talking to newsmen in Islamabad. He noted that raids were conducted in Peshawar and Nowshehra in collaboration with Counter Terrorism Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and other agencies.

The Interior Minister revealed that the mastermind of the incident is an Afghan citizen who is currently in custody. He said the entire planning and training of the attack was executed in Afghanistan by Daesh.

He further clarified that there is no doubt that Afghanistan is the hub of terrorist organizations. The Interior Minister highlighted that groups such as TTP, Taliban, and Daesh operate from Afghan soil with financial support from India.

He mentioned that India increased the budget for this funding since May of the previous year. Following a defeat by Pakistan in Marka-e-Haq, India allegedly engaged in covert warfare against Pakistan through these terrorist groups.

The Minister emphasized that Pakistan will present all details and updates regarding these activities to the international community through its missions abroad. Mohsin Naqvi affirmed that the country's stance against terrorism is firm and clear, with no differentiation or leniency shown towards any terrorist organization.

He urged the global community to recognize the regional threat posed by terrorism and act before it becomes a global issue.
