Islamabad: Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar has called on the opposition to engage in dialogue to help reform the system, emphasizing that mere sloganeering will not steer the country in the right direction. Speaking on the floor of the National Assembly, he highlighted the importance of constructive discussions to address the nation’s challenges.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has consistently extended a hand for dialogue. However, the Minister regretted that political hate has intensified to such an extent that political parties are unwilling to come to the negotiating table. This reluctance, he noted, hampers progress and impedes efforts to bring about necessary changes.

The Minister further stated that those who break the law and cross all limits will face consequences. His remarks underscore the government’s stance on upholding the rule of law while promoting dialogue as a means to achieve reform.
