Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre of Saudi Arabia has successfully concluded a series of twenty comprehensive free eye treatment camps across Pakistan under the Noor Saudi Volunteer Initiative 2025. The initiative was aimed at delivering essential ophthalmic services to underserved and vulnerable communities, particularly those facing financial constraints or limited access to specialized eye care.

According to Radio Pakistan, these free eye camps were organized across urban and remote areas of Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. More than seventy-nine thousand patients benefited from outpatient consultations, eye screenings, and surgeries. In addition, more than twenty thousand corrective eyeglasses were also distributed free of cost, along with essential prescribed medications provided on-site.

This humanitarian initiative reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong commitment to global health and humanitarian solidarity, particularly in combating preventable blindness. The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre is committed to deliver hope, dignity, and improved well-being to communities in need across Pakistan.
