KSrelief Launches Winter Kit Distribution Campaign in 26 Districts


Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center of Saudi Arabia today launched a major campaign to distribute Winter Kits among the deserving people of twenty-six districts in Pakistan. Addressing the launching ceremony held in this connection in Islamabad, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf expressed the government of Pakistan’s heartfelt gratitude to Saudi Arabia for this generous help.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted that this gesture of brotherhood and affection will further strengthen the already solid and time-tested relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He emphasized that the initiative reflects the spirit of love and solidarity of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud towards Pakistan.



The Minister also extended his thanks to the Saudi government, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki, and King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center for their support to the vulnerable segments of society in Pakistan. Under the large-scale initiative, King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center will distribute twenty-two thousand kits among nearly one hundred and fifty-four thousand individuals across twenty-six coldest and snow-bound districts of the country, including those of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.



These Winter Kits will be distributed in close collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority, Provincial Disaster Management Authorities, and local authorities. Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki, officials of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Islamabad, and other authorities were also present at the ceremony.
