Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre has successfully completed Food Security Support Project 2025-26 in Pakistan. Under this nationwide initiative, food assistance was distributed in thirty-one districts across the country, including ten districts in Punjab, five in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, seven in Balochistan, six in Sindh, and three districts in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Radio Pakistan, the project aimed to ensure the timely provision of essential food supplies to the most deserving and food-insecure households. Under the project, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre distributed thousands of food packages among vulnerable families. Each package, weighing ninety-seven kilograms, included essential food items such as 80 kg of flour, 5 litres of cooking oil, 5 kg of sugar, 5 kg of daal Chana, and 2 kg of dates.

The distribution process was carried out in close coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority, Provincial Disaster Management Authorities, district administrations, and other implementing partners. The entire operation was conducted in a transparent, efficient, and well-organized manner to ensure that assistance reached the intended beneficiaries. This project reflects King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre's steadfast commitment to strengthening food security in Pakistan and delivering timely humanitarian assistance to those most in need.
