The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched a crackdown against people involved in gas storage in plastic bags from gas pipelines.

According to the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information, Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif, several people have been arrested after the registration of FIR against them.
