Islamabad: Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has emphasized the need to transform Pakistan's curriculum in light of contemporary challenges. He was addressing the two-day national summit opened in Islamabad under the theme "New National Curriculum of Pakistan."
According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui stressed the importance of preparing learners for emerging global realities while remaining rooted in Pakistan's cultural and ideological foundations. In his keynote address, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal highlighted the need to integrate Technical and Vocational Education and Training within the national curriculum framework.
The first day of the two-day summit witnessed participation from distinguished members of Parliament and Provincial Assemblies, Vice Chancellors of universities, representatives of provincial and area education departments, development partners, curriculum experts, and education leaders from across the country.
