Head of the Commonwealth Observer Mission Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has commended efforts of the caretaker government and the Election Commission of Pakistan to ensure smooth polling process in the country. He said this while addressing a joint news conference with Caretaker Interior Minister Dr. Gohar Ejaz in Islamabad today. Dr Goodluck Jonathan visited several polling stations of the Federal Capital and found the polling process as smooth and hassle free. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Gohar Ejaz said about six hundred thousand security personnel have been deployed to provide security to the electoral process. Source: Radio Pakistan
