Islamabad: Pakistan has once again emphatically stated that Jammu and Kashmir is neither an integral part of India nor its internal matter.

According to Radio Pakistan, in response to the remarks of the Indian representative at the UN Security Council, Counsellor at Pakistan's Permanent Mission to the UN, Ms. Saima Saleem, emphasized that India's denial cannot rewrite history, change Jammu and Kashmir's internationally recognized disputed status, or conceal nearly eight decades of systematic human rights violations against the Kashmiri people, including the denial of their inalienable right to self-determination.

Ms. Saleem pointed out that India itself brought the Jammu and Kashmir dispute before the Security Council yet continues to defy its resolutions. She stated that the path to peace in South Asia lies neither in denial nor in defiance but in adherence to the Charter and international law.

The Counsellor accused India of being a State-sponsor of terrorism, claiming that Pakistan has lost nearly one hundred thousand citizens, including innocent men, women, and children, to terrorism perpetrated by groups such as the TTP, BLA, and Majeed Brigade, which she described as proxies financed, armed, aided, and abetted by India.

Furthermore, Saima Saleem criticized India's current government, stating that the Hindutva-inspired right-wing fascist RSS-BJP government has turned Islamophobia into State policy, normalizing hate crimes and genocide against more than two hundred million Muslims. She also highlighted the persecution of other minorities, including Christians, the dehumanization of Dalits, and the disenfranchisement of Sikhs.
