ISPR Expresses Concern Over Provocative Statements by Indian Security Officials

Rawalpindi: Inter-Services Public Relations has expressed serious concerns over the provocative and aggressive rhetoric emerging from the top echelons of the Indian security establishment.

According to Radio Pakistan, the ISPR issued a statement highlighting that these statements appear to be a renewed effort to fabricate arbitrary pretexts for aggression, which could have dire consequences for peace and stability in South Asia. For years, India has portrayed itself as a victim while casting Pakistan in a negative light and has been accused of instigating violence and terrorism across the region. This narrative is now being challenged globally, with India increasingly being recognized as a source of cross-border terrorism and regional instability.

The statement from ISPR also referenced the heightened tensions earlier this year when India and Pakistan, both nuclear-armed nations, came close to a major conflict. Despite this, India seems to have disregarded the previous consequences, showing signs of gearing up for further confrontation. The ISPR warned that the recent statements from the Indian Defence Minister and military chiefs could lead to catastrophic results if hostilities are reignited. Pakistan has vowed a resolute and unrestricted response if provoked.

In response to any potential aggression, Pakistan has set a precedent of a swift, decisive, and destructive counteraction. The ISPR emphasized that, in the face of baseless threats and aggressive posturing, Pakistan’s Armed Forces are fully prepared to retaliate, challenging the perceived geographic immunity of Indian territories. Additionally, any discussions of erasing Pakistan from the map were met with a stern warning that any such attempt would result in mutual destruction.
