Islamabad Vision 2027 to Introduce University Town Project, Says Interior Minister

Islamabad: A laptop distribution ceremony under the Prime Minister's Youth Laptop Scheme took place at Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, where Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi served as the chief guest. During his address, he congratulated the students on receiving their laptops and emphasized the government's commitment to improving facilities for students at Quaid-e-Azam University and other educational institutions.

According to Radio Pakistan, Interior Minister Naqvi announced that the Islamabad Vision 2027 will be unveiled next month. As part of this vision, a University Town project will be initiated. He also revealed plans to renovate and enhance the main entrance of Quaid-e-Azam University, alongside upgrading the auditorium facilities.

Minister Naqvi expressed his satisfaction with the university's improved ranking and revealed the Ministry of Interior's decision to appoint a separate coordinator for the institution. He also mentioned that Quaid-e-Azam University will confer degrees upon officers who complete training at the National Police Academy.

Highlighting the significance of the Prime Minister's Youth Laptop Scheme, Naqvi noted its importance to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He reiterated the government's dedication to fostering educational growth and technological advancement among the youth.

The Vice Chancellor of Quaid-e-Azam University took the opportunity to celebrate the university's achievement of being ranked as the nation's top university for three consecutive years.
