Ishaq Dar Concludes UK Visit, Departs for Istanbul

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has departed London for Istanbul, where he will undertake official engagements.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar concluded his official visit to the United Kingdom, during which he held meetings with British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, Minister of State for Pakistan Stephen Doughty, National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization Arsenio Dominguez, and Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

In addition to these high-level meetings, Ishaq Dar also engaged with Pakistan-origin British parliamentarians from both Houses and interacted with the Pakistani community in the UK.
