Islamabad: Irrefutable evidence has once again emerged regarding the use of Afghan territory for terrorism in Pakistan. The Khawarij terrorist who carried out the suicide attack in Bajaur on the 16th of this month was also an Afghan national.
According to Radio Pakistan, the suicide bomber has been identified as Ahmad alias Qari Abdullah Abu Zar, a resident of the Balkh province in Afghanistan. The involvement of Afghan nationals in terrorism in Pakistan is a clear indication of the Taliban regime's full support and facilitation of terrorists.
The suicide bomber who carried out the attack in the Tarlai area of Islamabad had received terrorist training in Afghanistan. The terrorists involved in the attacks on the Islamabad Judicial Complex and the FC Headquarters in Peshawar were also linked to Afghanistan.
Similarly, Afghan nationals were involved in terrorist attacks at the Dera Ismail Khan Police Training Center and the Wana Cadet College. A suicide bomber, Naimat Ullah, who was arrested in South Waziristan, was also found to be a resident of Afghanistan's Kandahar province.
The planning for the Bannu Cantt attack in March last year was also carried out in Afghanistan, and Afghan nationals were confirmed to have been involved.
