Irfan Siddiqui Hails Marka-e-Haq as a Turning Point for Pakistan’s Success


Islamabad: PML-N Parliamentary Party leader in Senate and Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, has called for building on the spirit of the successful Marka-e-Haq campaign to propel the country to progress and prosperity. Addressing a ceremony at Radio Pakistan Rawalpindi, he highlighted the campaign’s role in fostering a new sense of national pride and dignity.



According to Radio Pakistan, Senator Siddiqui emphasized that Marka-e-Haq, which took place in May, has marked the beginning of a new era for Pakistan, elevating the nation in the global community. He described it as a timeless testament to the resilience and strength of Pakistan, asserting that the country is now more powerful and robust compared to its inception in 1947. He urged citizens to honor the legacy of their forefathers by continuing to protect and develop their homeland.



In his speech, Irfan Siddiqui recounted the events of May, when Pakistan faced unprovoked Indian aggression. He praised the courage and determination of Pakistan’s armed forces, stating that their unwavering spirit proved that numerical superiority cannot overcome the valor of Pakistan’s defenders. He criticized the Indian Air Chief’s claims of downing Pakistani jets, dismissing them as absurd and false.



He further commented on India’s Operation Sindoor, labeling it a failure and suggesting that the operation’s outcome continues to trouble Indian officials. Siddiqui called for unity in Pakistan, urging an end to divisive politics and unnecessary criticism.



Senator Siddiqui also highlighted the positive trajectory of Pakistan’s economy, noting improvements such as a booming stock market, increased investor confidence, better international ratings, and declining inflation. He praised Radio Pakistan’s role in national integration, acknowledging its continued relevance as a communication medium.



He commended Radio Pakistan Rawalpindi for its contributions and honored the Potohar region as a land of both artists and martyrs. He expressed gratitude to those who have sacrificed for the nation, and emphasized the interconnectedness of Marka-e-Haq, Radio Pakistan Rawalpindi, and the Potohar region.



Parliamentary Secretary Daniyal Chaudhary also addressed the ceremony, advocating for reconciliation and dialogue as pathways to progress and development. He called on the nation to reject divisive agendas and embrace unity.
