Iranian Foreign Minister Holds Talks with Pakistani Leadership in Islamabad


Islamabad: Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is currently in Islamabad on an official visit to engage with the Pakistani leadership in efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various areas of mutual interest. His visit is seen as a significant step in reinforcing the already strong ties between the two neighboring nations.



According to Radio Pakistan, Foreign Minister Araghchi is scheduled to meet with several key figures in Pakistan, including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. These meetings aim to address and discuss a wide range of topics, including regional and global developments that are pertinent to both countries.



The relationship between Pakistan and Iran is characterized by their shared history, culture, and religion, creating a foundation for close bilateral relations. This visit by Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi is anticipated to further enhance these ties and promote greater cooperation between the two nations.
