Islamabad: Iran has offered to mediate between Pakistan and India to de-escalate tensions following the Pahalgam attack.
According to Radio Pakistan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced Tehran’s willingness to facilitate dialogue and understanding between Islamabad and New Delhi. He emphasized Iran’s readiness to use its diplomatic channels to help the neighboring countries manage the crisis effectively.
The Iranian Foreign Minister highlighted the importance of self-restraint for both countries to address the current tensions. He referred to India and Pakistan as brotherly neighbors of Iran, pointing to the deep-rooted cultural and civilizational ties that bind the three nations.
