Lahore: A simple but graceful Change of Guards ceremony was held at the Mazar-e-Iqbal in Lahore on Sunday to pay homage to the poet of the East, Dr. Allama Iqbal, on the occasion of his 148th birth anniversary. Commander of Pakistan Navy, Central Punjab, Real Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmi was the chief guest on the occasion. He laid a floral wreath on the national poet’s grave and offered fateha.
According to Radio Pakistan, Real Admiral Sohail Ahmad Azmi inspected the contingents of the Pakistan Navy and the Pakistan Rangers. The smartly turned contingent of the Pakistan Navy, clad in ceremonial dresses, took charge of guards duty at Mazar-e-Iqbal from Pakistan Rangers.
