Int’l Organizations Acknowledge Govt’s Economic Policies: Tarar

Lahore: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar stated that the government’s economic development policies are being recognized by international organizations. He made these remarks during a book launch ceremony for ‘Mard-e-Aahan: Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’, written by senior journalist Muhammad Nawaz Raza.

According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar emphasized the government’s efforts in steering the country out of the economic challenges left by the previous administration, led by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He criticized PTI for its divisive politics, which he claimed damaged the country’s standing and failed to deliver tangible benefits to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the past twelve years.

Tarar credited Mian Nawaz Sharif, President of the Pakistan Muslim League-N, with initiating welfare-focused politics in the country. He highlighted Sharif’s significant development projects, particularly those that have solidified trade routes with Central Asian states, facilitating sea trade and enhancing economic opportunities.
