Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, accompanied by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, visited the under-construction block of Parliament Lodges in Islamabad on Saturday. During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi issued directives to accelerate construction work and ensure the new block is completed within four months.
According to Radio Pakistan, the necessary funds have been approved for the project, which has been pending for thirteen years. The Interior Minister announced that the completion of the block will proceed on an emergency basis. He emphasized the significance of this development, highlighting the importance of providing accommodation facilities for all parliamentarians.
The Interior Minister was briefed that the new block of Parliament Lodges will feature over one hundred units.
