Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Visits Site of Tarlai Imambargah Bomb Blast

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the site of the bomb blast at Tarlai Imambargah in Islamabad on Friday. He was accompanied by Minister of State Talal Chaudhry, the Federal Secretary for Interior, Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, and the Inspector General of Islamabad Police.

According to Radio Pakistan, the officials offered Maghrib and Isha prayers at the site and prayed for those martyred in the blast. They also inspected the blast site and assessed the situation. During the visit, the Interior Minister engaged with the Imambargah's management and instructed the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to expedite the restoration of the Imambargah.

Minister Naqvi emphasized that the perpetrators of terrorism in Pakistan are backed by foreign entities aiming to disrupt the peace and development of the nation. He asserted the country's unity in the face of such foreign-sponsored terrorism. Furthermore, Naqvi directed the Inspector General Police Islamabad to carry out a comprehensive investigation into the incident, promising that those responsible would be apprehended soon.

The Interior Minister also expressed his wishes for the swift recovery of the injured and instructed that they receive top-notch medical care.
