Islamabad: Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi and Gilgit-Baltistan Caretaker Chief Minister Yar Muhammad Khan held a meeting in Islamabad today to discuss security situation during elections in Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Caretaker Chief Minister stated that the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) will be made operational in Gilgit-Baltistan. The Interior Minister assured that the CTD will be provided with full support in terms of modern technology and weapons.

Mohsin Naqvi further mentioned that additional personnel will be deployed during the elections and law and order will be maintained at all costs.
