Rajoa sadaat chiniot: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited Rajoa Sadaat Chiniot to offer condolences on the passing of Syed Ghulam Murtaza Shah, father of Pakistan People's Party leader Syed Hassan Murtaza. During the visit, the Minister extended his sympathies to Hassan Murtaza and other members of the bereaved family. He remarked that the loss of a father leaves a void that no other relationship or bond can fill. Attaullah Tarar prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the departed soul with a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and grant patience to the bereaved family.
According to Radio Pakistan, later, while speaking to the media, Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar affirmed that the entire nation remains united in its efforts to eliminate terrorism and extremism from Pakistan. He emphasized the sacrifices made by the country's armed forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism. He noted that the capacity of terrorists to strike hard targets has been significantly reduced. Attaullah Tarar also mentioned that the government is working on a comprehensive relief package aimed at supporting journalists across the country.
