Info Minister Commends Pakistan Army for Wana Student Rescue


Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has praised the Pakistan Army for conducting a historic operation to rescue students in Wana. Speaking to media personnel at the Parliament House, he highlighted the successful rescue of over five hundred students, emphasizing the global significance of the operation.



According to Radio Pakistan, Attaullah Tarar stated that the Wana operation would be remembered worldwide and taught in military academies globally. He conveyed a strong message to adversaries, asserting that Pakistan had overcome an enemy four times its size, leading to the enemy’s retreat. He downplayed the threat posed by proxy wars against Pakistan.



In addition, the Information Minister addressed the 27th Constitutional Amendment, expressing confidence that it would pass if tabled. He criticized the opposition for not engaging in a detailed discussion and debate on the amendment, suggesting that their actions lacked substance without a thorough understanding of the bill.
