Lahore: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar visited the residence of former Punjab Chief Minister Mian Manzoor Wattoo in Lahore today to offer condolences to the bereaved family following Wattoo's passing.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the visit, Attaullah Tarar expressed his grief and sympathies to Mian Manzoor Wattoo's wife and family members, including DG PEMRA Punjab Ayesha Manzoor Wattoo, former MNA Rubina Wattoo, Jahan Ara Wattoo, Moazzam Wattoo, Bilal Ahmed Virk, and Khurram Wattoo. The Minister offered Fateha and prayed for the departed soul.

Attaullah Tarar highlighted that Mian Manzoor Wattoo was a seasoned politician with a strong commitment to public service. He noted the mutual respect and honor shared between Wattoo and his grandfather, the late former President of Pakistan, Rafiq Tarar.

The Minister praised Wattoo's contributions as the Chief Minister of Punjab, noting his commendable political career. He remarked that Wattoo promoted politics based on grace and politeness, operating within the bounds of tolerance, endurance, and democratic values. Attaullah Tarar concluded by stating that Mian Manzoor Wattoo's political, social, and public services will be remembered forever.
