Indian Troops Launch Multiple CASOs in Occupied Territory

Islamabad: In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir: Indian troops continue cordon and search operations across the occupied territory.

According to Radio Pakistan, the arrests and crackdowns are part of India’s agenda to instill fear and harassment among Kashmiri civilians. On the other hand, the Delhi High Court has reserved its verdict on the bail plea of senior APHC leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah, who has been detained in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail since 2017 in a case deemed fake by his supporters. His counsel argued that no evidence links him to any criminal act and highlighted his prolonged detention without conviction.

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, justice remains elusive, even after sixteen years, for the families of two young Kashmiri women, Aasiya and Neelofar. They were abducted, raped, and murdered by men in uniform in the Shopian area. Their bodies were discovered in a nullah on the intervening night of 29th and 30th May 2009.

According to a report released by the Kashmir Media Service, on the 16th anniversary of the tragedy, the Shopian incident remains a grim reminder of the systematic violence faced by Kashmiri women. The All Parties Hurriyat Conference spokesman, in a statement in Srinagar, paid tributes to the victims of Indian state terrorism, Aasiya and Neelofar. He stated that the crime was not just an assault on two innocent women but also a brazen attack on the collective conscience of the Kashmiri people.

Citing countless cases of molestation and humiliation of Kashmiri women over the past three decades, he demanded an impartial investigation under the United Nations War Crimes Tribunal into all such incidents in the occupied territory.
